国产爆料 Named a 2026 SASTA Science Active School

国产爆料 is proud to be recognised as a 2026 SASTA Science Active School, an honour awarded to schools that demonstrate a sustained and future鈥慺ocused commitment to high鈥憅uality science education. The Science Active Schools Program acknowledges schools that actively engage their science educators in ongoing professional learning and foster a culture where scientific thinking, curiosity and innovation are prioritised.

This recognition reflects the depth of expertise within PAC鈥檚 science faculty and the College鈥檚 strong culture of professional collaboration. Academic Leader 鈥 Science, Dr Di Hu, said the acknowledgement affirms the long鈥憈erm investment in both staff capability and student learning.

鈥淲e are committed to providing our boys with a relevant and progressive Chemistry education that empowers them to understand the world around them and to contribute to solving global issues such as climate change, sustainable development and water security,鈥 Dr Hu said.

PAC鈥檚 science educators bring extensive expertise to their teaching. 鈥淥ur Chemistry teachers have an average of almost 20 years of teaching experience, with qualifications including Bachelor of Science (Hons), PhD, Master of Teaching, Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology & Physiology) and Bachelor of Education,鈥 Dr Hu added.

The Science faculty鈥檚 vision is brought to life through rich curriculum offerings and hands鈥憃n learning experiences that engage boys from Years 7鈥12. These include Chemistry incursions delivered by university experts, participation in national competitions, laboratory tours, industry鈥憀ed workshops and real鈥憌orld investigations spanning energy, water security and analytical chemistry.

Such learning opportunities extend the curriculum beyond the Australian Curriculum and are intentionally designed to meet the learning needs of boys鈥攁ctive, applied and connected to real鈥憌orld relevance.

Becoming a 2026 Science Active School is a testament to the passion and dedication of PAC鈥檚 science educators, and to a leadership culture that champions excellence in STEM across the College.
